Elizabeth Noel was born about 1670, daughter of Edward Noel, Earl of Gainsborough [1] and his wife, Elizabeth Wriothesley.
She married Sir Richard Norton of Southwick in Hampshire, son of Daniell Norton and his wife, Isabel Lawson, in the Southampton Chapel at St Giles in the Fields on 14 February 1702.[2]
Elizabeth died childless in 1705 and was buried at St Giles in the Fields on the 28th of September. [3]
