MEMORIAL PHOTOS 0 FLOWERS 1 The Franklin Republican, Friday, July 1, 1887, pag 1 & 8 Mr. Richard Nolen, who resided near Rocklane, died quite suddenly from heart disease on last Sunday night. He was about forty-five years of age and leaves a wife and children.

ROCKLANE ~ Dick Nolin died very suddenly last Sunday night. He leaves a wife and six children in rather limited circumstances.

Note ~ The 1870 U.S. Fed Census of Clark, Johnson Co Indiana recorded: Richard Nolen, 24 years old; wife, Sarah 22; and child: Mellie 1 – all born in Indiana.
