Bridget Norris was a daughter of Sir William Norris, KB of Speke, Lancashire (d. 1626),[1] and his wife, Elianor, daughter of Sir William Molyneaux of Sefton, Lancashire.[2]
She was said to be married to Sir Thomas Bold at the time of the 1567 Visitation.[3] However, the couple married on 9 April 1609.[4] On 9 April, 1607, the Archdeaconry of Chester issued to Thomas Bould, of Bould, and Bridget Norris of Chidwall Parish, Lancashire, spinster, a licence to marry without proclamation of banns, at Childwall, Lancashire; their Bondsman was Edward Mollineux of Garston, Lancashire.[5]
She remarried to John Fleming, esq. of Ridale, co. Westmorland.[4] Her second marriage is recorded in Vis. of Lancs. 1664/5.[2]
Bridget died childless at Coningston Hall, Coniston, Cumberland.[1] Marriage
