Mabel Charlton Northey, the daughter of Joseph Northey and Agnes Sarah (Charlton) Northey, was born in 1914 in Rutherglen, Victoria.^[1]

She married Stuart Campbell Calder in 1939.^[2]

Mabel Calder died on 5 September 2001 in Resthaven Nursing Home in Westbourne Park, South Australia, aged 87.^[3] She was buried in Centennial Park Cemetery.^[4]
