Henry married Margaret S Coursen (41) (born in 1819 in New Jersey, United States) on 21 Mar 1861 in Sussex, New Jersey.

Henry Couse Northrup was born on October 16, 1821, in Newton, New Jersey when his father, Moses, was 22 and his mother, Catharine, was 19. He married Elizabeth Snyder on December 4, 1841, in Newton, New Jersey. They had nine children: William S, Catharine Ann, Daniel A, Jacob, Moses W, George V, Sarah M. John Henry, and Mary Elizabeth. After Elizabeth's death he married Margaret S. Coursen in 1861 in Newton, New Jersey. He died on August 16, 1890, in his hometown at the age of 68. He was buried next to his first wife, Elizabeth, in Newton Cemetery PLOT391 Map 1912, Newton, New Jersey.
