Biography

Edwin was born in 1860. He was the son of Sylvanus Norton and Emily French. He was a seaman at Jonesport, later moved to Bar Harbor. He married 1st 27 April 1900 Lorinda Alley, daughter of Andrew Jackson Alley and Julia Alley (divorced). He married 2nd at Jonesport 8 Feb 1913 Janette E. Peabody, daughter of Ammi Beal Peabody and Sabrina Wallace (separated 1920s). He passed away after 1922. ^{[1] [2]}
