Biography

The Castilian, 1903-1905 printed the following obit. Mrs. Angeline M. Griffith died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Kellogg on Saturday, Dec. 19, 1903, aged 76 years, 10 mo, and 11 days. She was born in Rutland, VT, but spent much of her life in Pike. The burial was at Patches Corners [Patches Corners was the early name for East Koy].

She was the daughter of David Nourse of Vermont, one of the early settlers of East Koy. Her exact birthdate of 8 Feb 1827 appears in FamilyTree but is unsourced; the 1900 Census says Feb 1828.
