Based on pronounciation, the original Swedish spelling of her birth name may have been Nöjd.

• May be the daughter of Carolina Matilda Andersdotter (1829-) and step-daughter of Johan Peter Johannesson (1834-). Her obituary on Find a Grave mentions her father, J.P. Noyd in Gavla. Johan Peter Johannesson Nöjd died in Gavla.
