Elizabeth lived with her husband at Coole, County Galway, Ireland. He died on 20 April 1847.
Elizabeth Gregory died twenty-nine years later, on 7 January 1876, and was buried at the Gregory Mausoleum in Kiltartan, County Galway, Ireland[1]. Notice of her death was printed on page 2 of the Kilkenny Moderator dated 15 January 1876:
DEATH.
January 7th, at Queenstown, County Cork, in her 79th year, Elizabeth. Widow of the late Robert Gregory, of Coole Park. Co. Galway, and daughter of the late Robert O'Hara, Esq., of Raheen, in the same county.[2]
