Biography

Alexis was born in 1896. His father later became the 1st Marquess de CastelHomond by decree of Pope Leo.

He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, and Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England. He fought in the First World War, with Middlesex Regiment, and later he was an artist and composer.

He married, firstly, Katherine Marguerite Helene Marie Gwynne Jackson, daughter of Maj.-Gen. George Wilfred Jackson, on 4 June 1918, with whom he had one daughter, Jacqueline, in 1919. He and Katherine Marguerite Helene Marie Gwynne Jackson were divorced in 1925.

He married, secondly, Anne Rhodes Moorhouse, daughter of Edward Moorhouse and Mary Ann Rhodes, on 14 February 1927.

He lived at Malmains Manor, Alkham, Kent, England.

He passed away in 1956.
