Biography

Thomas "O'Carroll thanks Messers Lenihan and Robertson for proposing him as a member of the Kilkenny Archaeological Society. During his continental tour he attempted to locate a copy of the seal of the Confederate Catholics of Kilkenny and he lists the archives and libraries that he visited. He encloses a ground plan for the Abbey of Athafeel [not extant] which he himself has surveyed" [1]
