Biography
John was born in March[1] 1858 in Mounds View Township, Minnesota.[2] He grew up in Mounds View.[3][4]
In the 1880s, John, his brother Patrick, and his sister Johanna moved to St. Anthony.[5] John moved to Minneapolis when he married Mary Kierce in 1888,[1][6] where they had six children together.[7]
