Robert Melville O'Hanlon was born on 22 Apr 1942 in Gympie, Queensland, Australia. [1] He was the son of Iris Mabel Johnston and Robert Walter O'Hanlon.
He married Coral Manteufel on 25 Sep 1965 in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.
Robert was a pilot in the RAAF. He served in Vietnam and translated school books into braille. He was also an RAAF instructor. [2] [1]
He died on 3 Jul 1969 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia of a brain tumor and was buried in the Albany Creek Memorial Park Cemetery & Crematorium Bridgeman Downs, Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia with full military honours. [3] [4] [5] [1]
