Henry Oddie was born in Lancashire, England.

Henry was born in Clitheroe, Lancashire, England, on December 25, 1897. He was the son of James Oddie and Hannah Unknown. (Mother's maiden name Isherwood). He was one of at least seven children. Henry was baptized on January 23, 1898, in Clitheroe, at St Mary. He was enumerated in the 1901 and 1911 census residing with his family in Clitheroe.

Henry passed away in 1969. His death was registered in the third quarter in Blackburn, Lancashire.
