Biography

Peter Egerton Ogilvie was born late in 1799 at Meaghers Grant (Halifax County, Nova Scotia), the son of John Ogilvie and Ellis (“Alice”) Edgerton. He married Ann Roberts c1820 in Halifax County. They had possibly as many as 15 or 16 children. Peter passed away in 1880 at Wentworth, Cumberland County, NS
