Biography

In the 1880 census Knute (age 10) was the single son of Sure Oleson in Des Moines Township, Lee, Iowa.^[1]

In the 1885 census Canute (age 15) was in Des Moines, Lee, Iowa.^[2]

In the 1895 census Conute (age 25) was in Lee, Iowa.^[3]

In the 1900 census Kanute (age 31) was the single son of Juliene Oleson in Des Moines Township, Lee, Iowa.^[4]

In the 1910 census Knute (age 40) was the single brother of Lena Oleson in Keokuk Ward 3, Lee, Iowa.^[5]

Knut died (age 50) on 13 February 1920 in Keokuk.^[6] He was a single laborer. The informant on his death record was Edward Oleson (his brother).

He was survived by two sisters, Mrs. O. A. Bentzinger and Lena Oleson, and a brother Edward A. Oleson. He was born 20 Oct 1869 in Lee County, Iowa.^[7]
