(Annie) Prestegaard, 91, died Monday, Jan. 18, 1971 at the Pleasant View Lutheran Home in Ottawa. She was born Oct. 10, 1879, at the farm home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole E. Oleson, in Stewart. She married Lars O. Prestegaard on Jan. 23, 1902. She was baptized and confirmed as a Lutheran and was a long time member of the First Lutheran Church in Lee. She is survived by two sons, Louis A. Prestegaard and Ole L. Prestegaard, both of rural Stewart: three grandchildren: three great-grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband in 1966; one son, Andrew, who died in infancy; her parents; and nine brothers. Both Mr. and Mrs. Prestegaard lived most of their lives in Lee. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 21, 1971, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Lee with Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, Jan 21, 1971 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thorsen Funeral Home in Shabbona.
