Charles was born in 1827. He is the son of William Olmsted and Cynthia Franklin.
He married Mary Haskins and they had two sons, Frederick and Harlow.
He later married Caroline Calvert and they had a daughter Mary.
Charles died in 1911 and is buried with his wife Mary in the Machpelah Cemetery, LeRoy, Genesee County, New York. [1] His second wife Caroline is buried nearby.
