Selmer J. (apparently Joel) Olson was born in Wisconsin, 16 Sep 1898.[1] In 1921, he married Beulah Gilbertson. They had two daughters, both born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin: June Kathleen, born 2 Mar 1921,[2] and Rose Marie, born 27 Oct 1926.[3] In 1930, Selmer (who worked as a mechanic) and Beulah and their two daughters, and his brother, lived in a rented house in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, about 25 miles northwest of Beulah's parents farm.[4] By 1935 and through 1940, at least, Selmer, Beulah and their two daughters lived in a rented household at 1644 Ross Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota.[5]
His wife, Beulah, died in St. Paul, Minnesota, 2 Dec 1976, and she's buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in South Minneapolis, Minnesota.[6] Selmer died in St. Paul, too, 28 Nov 1982, at age 84, and he's buried in the same cemetery.[1] He was survived by his two daughters (listed here in other of their deaths), Rose Marie (who died in Glendale, Arizona, 27 Aug 2001, at age 74)[3] and June (who died 7 Aug 2018, at age 97).[2]
