Mary D. LaRoche, 86

HOLDEN -- Mary D. (Orciuch) LaRoche, 86, of 350 Holden St., died Monday, Jan. 22, at home, after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 58 years, Russell J. LaRoche; four sons, R. Philip LaRoche of Rutland, John J. and James W. LaRoche, both of Jefferson, and Paul J. LaRoche of New Braintree; a daughter, Mary U. Capparelli of Sterling; a brother, Raymond Orciuch of Worcester; three sisters, Theodosia Salvatore of Leominster, Frances Misilo of Worcester and Germaine Kempinski of Webster; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother and a sister, Edward and Statia B. Orciuch, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Ursula (Oscilowicz) Orciuch. She graduated from Commerce High School, Worcester.

Mrs. LaRoche co-founded Bay State Spring Corp., Jefferson, in 1962. She retired from the business in 1992. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church, Worcester, and its Women's Guild. She volunteered at Rutland Heights Hospital.

The funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 26, from Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. George's Church, 38 Brattle St., Worcester. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care Hospice Inc., 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.

WORCESTER / WEST YARMOUTH – Frances J. (Orciuch) Misilo, 89, formerly of Worcester, died peacefully under the loving care of her family and the staff at Liberty Commons Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Chatham on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Mrs. Misilo was one of seven children, born to John and Ursula Orciuch. She lived in Worcester until moving to West Yarmouth in 2011.

She graduated from Classical High School and worked for several years at Chapin & O’Brien Jewelers in Worcester. She enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod with her family and wintering in Naples, Florida with her husband. Mrs. Misilo was an avid bird watcher, a talented painter, and cherished time playing cards with family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She was proud of her polish heritage and was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester.

Mrs. Misilo was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Thaddeus J. Misilo, Sr. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her children, Thaddeus J. Misilo, Jr. and his wife Donna of Palm Bay, Florida, Christine T. Ricciardi and her husband Ronald of Hubbardston and West Yarmouth and Fran M. Misilo of North Port, FL; a brother, Raymond Orciuch and his wife Julie of Worcester; a sister, Germaine Kempinski and her husband Felix of Webster; seven grandchildren, Christopher Ricciardi and his wife Katie, Peter Ricciardi and his wife Libby, Melissa Ricciardi, TJ Misilo, Thomas Misilo, Michael Begonis and his wife Meaghan, and Sarah Chase and her husband Matt; three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Kristen and Annabell; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Misilo will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Relatives and friends are invited to honor life her life by gathering with the family from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, followed by a procession to St. George Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Donations in her memory may be made to the Windsor Skilled Nursing/Adult Day Health Program, Attn: Edie, 265 North Main Street, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.

THEODOSIA "TESS" T. SALVATORE

Leominster - Theodosia "Tess" T. (Orciuch) Salvatore, 92, of Leominster, MA died Sat. May 22, 2010 in Life Care Center, Leominster, MA. She was born in Worcester, MA daughter of John and Ursula (Arczilowicz) Orciuch. Mrs. Salvatore was a cafeteria worker at St. Anna School. She was an avid bowler and a had been a member of the Clinton Bowling League. She is survived by three sons, Paul D.M. Salvatore, and Daniel P. Salvatore both of Leominster, and Martin R. Salvatore of Westminster, one Brother Raymond Orciuch of Worcester, two sisters Germaine Kempinski of Webster and Frances Misilo of Worcester, four Grandchildren, Steven Salvatore, Chrissy Johnson, Valerie Salvatore and James Salvatore, four great grandchildren Johnathon Salvatore, Julie Salvatore, Katrina Salvatore and Chloe Johnson. Mrs. Salvatore was predeceased by her husband Guido Salvatore who died in 1987, a brother Edward Orciuch, and two sisters Mary LaRoche and Statia Orciuch.

Funeral Information

Her Funeral will be held Wednesday, May 26, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster, with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anna's Church, 199 Lancaster St., Leominster. A Calling hour will be held Wednesday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
