Biography

Birth

Suzanna was born on November 24th 1888 in 's-Heer-Arendskerke, Zeeland.

She was the daughter of Lijdia Otte, no father was listed on birth certificate.^[1] The birth was declared by her grandfather Marinus Otte.

Marriage and children

Age 33 she married the carpenter Simon Dekker on the 24th of may 1922 in 's-Heer Arendskerke. The son of Cornelis Dekker and Maria Nieuwenhuijse was 35 years old at the time.^[2]

After marriage the couple went to live in Wemeldingen where in 1933 their son Cornelis was born.

Death

In 1967, on the 24th of May, Suzanna's husband dies, age 80. ^[3] Their son Cornelis, then 33 years old and living in Bunnik, Utrecht declares the death.

Suzanna must have died after this date. Simon was listed as married on his death certificate. No civil records are yet available to state the date of Suzanna's passing though burial records state she died June 16th 1975 in Driebergen. She was buried in Wemelkerke on the "Algemene Begraafplaats" in a joint grave with her husband Simon. ^[4][5][6]
