In 1861, at the age of 20, in Wangford, Suffolk, England, Clarissa Outlaw is working as a maid in the household of Horatio and Ellen Gundlash.[3]
Clarissa Anna Outland and Samuel Jennings, marriage record starts in the England & Wales, Civil Registration, where they are listed as marrying in January 1868. Then in the church records we find they married February 26, 1868 at St. Mary, Docking, Norfolk, England. [4][5]
In 1871, the Jennings lived in Docking, Norfolk, England. They were the parents of two young sons: Charles G. was two and Herbert J. Jennings was a newborn. Clarissa must have needed help with her little ones because the census shows she had an eleven year servant in the household.[6]
In 1881, Clarissa and Samuel lived in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England, they had five children in the household: Charles G; Herbert J; Florence M.; Gertrude F.; and Emily C.

In 1891, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England, Clarissa is 50 years old, Samuel is 49, they have five children in their household: Herbert J. is 20; Gertrude F. is 15; Emily C. is 13; William O. is 9; and Percy A. is 7. [8]
In 1901, Clarissa is 60 years old and Samuel Jennings is 58, they are still living in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England. Their household consists of sons: William D. age 19, and Albert P. age 17. They also have their daughter Gertrude and her husband John W. Morley and their three year old son.[9]
Clarissa Anna Outland Jennings died at the age of 63, on October 19, 1904 in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England.[10][11]
