Biography
When Lewis was about 21 he married Mary Griffith on 22 August 1848 in Llanddyfnan, Anglesey, Wales, United Kingdom. The couple had 9 children: Thomas Owen, Dorothea Owen, Mary Owen, Owen Owen, Ann Owen, Elizabeth Owen, Lewis Owen, William Lewis Owen and Griffith Owen.[1]
In 1871 Lewis (age about 44) was living at 132 Caellywngrydd North, Llanllechid. A quarreyman
In 1881 Lewis (age about 54) was living at 37 Caellywngrydd North, Llanllechid. A slate quarreyman
In 1891 Lewis (age about 64) was living at 37 Caellywngrydd North, Llanllechid. A slate quarreyman
Lewis died at the age of about 73 on 22 December 1900 at 21 Hengapel, Rachub, Bethesda.[2]
