Biography
Illegitimate son of Anna Catharina Palmtag; father not listed on family registry III 222 or 223 (or on I-81).
Anna Catharina later married Jakob Haller (1788) and it appears Haller may have adopted Hanss Jakob Palmtag, but he retained his mother's Palmtag surname. Checked his 1775 baptism; father given as unknown.
