He appears in countless church records, or else that is his namesake father, impossible to tell which it was, witness to ceremonies, mostly funerals.
he remarries with Marie Thérèse Janson, widow of Jean Louis Bazinet and daughter of Joseph Janson and Marie Madeleine Gauthier, 15 Jan 1801, St-Paul-de-Lavaltrie[2]
no further trace of him and his 2nd wife after their marriage was found
Claude was born in 1738. He passed away about 1788.
