Louis P. Parente, 87, of Milford, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, in the Geriatric Authority of Milford. He was the husband of the late Anna C. (Ohanian) Parente who died in 1999. He was born in Milford, son of the late Raffael and Josephine (Niro)

He worked for 45 years at the former General Motors Assembly plant from which he retired in 1993. He was a life long Milford resident. He was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1941 and a graduate of Becker College in 1948. Mr. Parente was a World War II Army Air Corp. serving in the P-38 National Assoc. 8th Group 25th Photo Mapping. He attended Army Air Corp. Photo School in Denver CO. He also served in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Parente was a member of the Medway V.F.W Post # 1526, he served as a Town Meeting member, member of the Capital Improvement Committee, a notary public, a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, serving as Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Vestry Person a member of the Trinity Episcopal Finance, Building and Property Committees since 1950.

He is survived by two daughters Luann Parente of Milford, April Ann and her husband Daniel Martin of Holliston, two sisters Josephine Tomassini of Hopedale, Barbara Hart of Puyallup, Wash., two brothers Anthony Parente of Farmington, Conn., Ralph Parente of Northborough, two grandchildren Sara Ann Martin and Ryan Martin both of Holliston, many nieces and nephews.^[3]
