Biography

Josiah Parkhurst was born on December 15, 1728, at Chelmsford, Massachusetts the son of Jonathan and Hannah (Richardson) Parkhurst. ^{[1] [2]}

He married Elizabeth King at Littleton on June 15, 1758. ^[3] Elizabeth was born at Littleton, Massachusetts on March 13, 1728/9, daughter of Richard and Elizbeth (Tuttle) King. ^[3]

Elizabeth's father Richard King wrote his will on February 25, 1711. In it he named the following heirs, among others: my daughter Elizabeth, wife of Josiah Parcust (sic). ^[4]

Josiah died at Wilton, New Hampshire on October 13, 1778 and was buried there. ^[1]
