Biography
The June 1841 census[1]shows Thomas residing with his family in Bancashill, Tythegston, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom.
The March 1851 census[2]shows Thomas residing with his mother, Elizabeth Parry nee Roberts in Cefn Cribbwr, Glamorgan.
Thomas married[3]Sarah Parry on 3 March 1860 at the parish church, Neath, Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom. At the time of the ceremony Thomas resided in Tythegston and Sarah Parry resided in Neath. His father Edward Parry worked as a Brickmaker and his father in law Thomas Mellin is noted as a Blacksmith. The marriage was registered[4]during the first quarter of 1860 in the district of Neath.
The April 1861 census[5]shows Thomas residing with his wife Sarah Parry in Darran Las, Glamorgan.
The September 1870 census[6]shows Thomas, who has a personal asset value of $200.00, residing with his family in Plains Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
The June 1880 census[7]shows Thomas continuing to reside with his family in Plains Township.
The June 1900 census[8]shows Thomas, a widower, continuing to reside in the household of his son in law Gomer Williams and daughter Laura Williams nee Parry in Plains Township.
Thomas passed away[9] aged sixty seven on 4 August 1902 at the home of his daughter, Laura Williams nee Parry after suffering for five months from Bright's Disease. Thomas was laid to rest[10]a couple of days later on 6 August 1902 after a funeral service at the home of Laura Williams nee Parry in Plot Single Grave 729, Row 10 Grave 5, Hollenback Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County.
