George Partridge was a convict after the Third Fleet.

GEORGE PARTRIDGE born 1814 Birmingham England son of William PARTRIDGE labourer and Mary HAYWOOD

occupation c1832 in Birmingham - steel-toymaker, labourer religion Protestant, could read, not write

description on 18 October 1833 (from ships muster) 5 feet 7½ inches, sallow complexion, sandy brown hair, grey eyes, round scar back of left cheek, scar right side of mouth

convict details - convicted of pick-pocketing, tried at Warwick Quarter Session on 16 October 1832, 1 former conviction – 1 month imprisonment, He had been convicted of picking pockets at Warwick Quarter Sessions on October 16 1832. He had a former conviction for which he had been sentenced to one month;

transported for 7 years (aged 18 years) on transport ship Lord Lynedock (first voyage) Master William Johnston, Surgeon Superintendant Dr David Watson, sailed from England, arrived Sydney Cove on 18 October 1833 with 339 male convicts (1 released, 4 died on voyage)

1856 - lived at Ruthven Street Toowoomba Queensland

Residence August 1860 -- George received Deed of Grant for land purchsed in County of Aubigny. This land was on the north-east corner of Herries and Ruthven Streets, Toowoomba. Source: Darling Downs Biographical Register to 1900
