Biography

Edward was born in 1897. He was the son of David Charles Pasdach and Betty Allen.

Edward married Hazel McGlothlin on May 9, 1918 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. They were divorced in February of 1929.[1]

On his World War I Draft Registration Card, Edward stated he was born on April 4, 1897 in Indiana. Edward was described as being tall, slender, brown hair and blue eyes. Spouse was listed as Hazel Pasdach.[2]

On September 4, 1918 Edward enrolled/enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Private in Lafayette Township, Owen County, Indiana.[3][4]

Edward married Grace Lester on November 15, 1930 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana.[5][6]

He passed away in 1967.[7][8]

Edward was buried in Greenbush Cemetery in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana.[9]

EDWARD G. PASDACH
Edward George Pasdach, 70, formerly of Lafayette, died in a hospital in Harriman, Tenn., at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday after an illness of a year. He was a patient in the hospital the last time for six days.
Born at Goodland, he was reared there and in Lafayette and lived here until 1945 when he moved to Harriman where he was employed as a finisher by the Mead Corp. until he retired in 1962. Until leaving Lafayette he was employed in the old Dorner greenhouses.
Mr. Pasdach, an Army veteran of World War I, was married in Lafayette in 1918 to Hazel McGlothlin. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and American Legion Post 53, both at Harriman.
Surviving with the widow are two sons, Charles of Chicago and George of Harriman; a sister, Mrs. Clifford Zieg of Fort Wayne; a half brother, George H. Dexter Jr. of Lafayette, and two half sisters, Mrs. Frank Devaux of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Sarah Cannon of Lafayette.
The body is being sent to Lafayette.[10]
