Jane married Robert Maxwell (born in 1836 in Ballynacally, Erriagal, County Londonderry; son of John Maxwell) on September 25, 1857 in Garvagh, Errigal, County Londonderry. ^[1] Their known children were:

Jane Maxwell, age 65, died after a 10 day bronchial pneumonia infection that led to a cardiac event on April 11, 1901 in Bushtown, Aghadowey, County Coleraine, Ireland.^[4]
