Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1914. She is the daughter of Kore Peachey and Rachel D Hostetler. [1]

Obituary

Lizzie H. Peachey, 79, of R. 1, Belleville, Pa., 17004, died at her home on November 22 (1993) after a lengthy illness. I don't think she was away from home this year except to the doctor and hospital.

She was born January 26, 1914, a daughter of the late Kore K. and Rachel (Hostetler) Peachey.

She married David J. Peachey in 1937, who survives.

Also surviving are Moses, married Malinda Wengerd, R. 1, Box 414, McAlisterville, Pa. 17049, Kore married Fannie Peachey R. 1, Box 342, Belleville Pa. 17004. A daughter Katie at home who very faithfully cared for her mother, R. 1, Box 342, Belleville, Pa. 17004; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Leah Hostetler of Belleville, Pa., Mrs. Amelia Yoder, Union Grove, North Carolina; one brother, Noah Peachey, Belleville, Pa., Mrs. Salina (Samuel T. Peachey), Tyrone, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers, three daughters, and one grandson.

Funeral services were held at the home farm where son Kore loves by a nephew Kore M. Yoder and Daniel M. Peachey of home church. Burial was at Locust Grove Cemetery.[2]
