Alice, (or Elizabeth) was born in Chellaston, Derbyshire in1862. [1][2]She is the daughter of James Pearson and Ann Lee. She was christened in Chellaston on 13 July 1862.[3]
In the 1871 census[4] she was living in Chellaston with her parents and siblings.

She died in Derbyshire in 1928 aged 66. Her death was registered in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, which historically included some areas of Derbyshire.[10]
Research Notes
Both her birth registration and christening give her name as Alice, with no middle name, but throughout her life she was generally recorded as being named Elizabeth Alice (occasionally vice versa). Her age in census returns fluctuates too. She is named as 'Elizabeth' in her death registration.
There is no doubt that Alice and Elizabeth are the same person. There are no births for an Elizabeth Pearson registered from 1858 to 1864 and no deaths for an Alice Pearson.
