Biography

Pvt George Peasley served in the United States Civil War.
Enlisted: 7 Aug 1862
Mustered out: 12 Jun 1865

George was born in 1841 to Horace Peasley and Sophronia Greene. George attended Oberlin College in 1862 before he enlisted in Company F of the 103rd OVI on 7 Aug 1862. He mustered out with the company on 12 Jun 1865. After the war, George moved to Brighton and was a Farmer. He married Artemisia Bunge on 18 Apr 1866. Artemisia passed away in 1886 and George then married Mary Francis Smith on 27 Nov 1888. He passed away in 1911.
