William Peffers was born about 29 Nov 1856 in Burford, Brant, Canada West, son of George Peffers and Ann (Virtue) Peffers.^[1]

He lived in Burford, Brant where he was a farmer ^[2][3] and died there on 2 March 1882, age 25 years. ^[1] He is buried in Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, Oxford, Ontario. ^[4]
