Gertrude Pelham was daughter of Thomas Baron Pelham of Laughton Bart.[1] The date of her marriage suggests she was daughter of his second wife, Grace Holles.
In 1713 she was pursued so vigorously as a bride for David Polhill, son of Thomas Polhill and his wife, Elizabeth Ireton, that he did not have time to stand for Parliament. They were married on the 20th of August. [1]
Gertrude died, childless, the following year. [1]
Wikipedia names her husband (unsourced) as Edmund Polhill. [2]
