Biography
John was born in Barlborough and was baptised in Killamarch on 17 Apr 1842. He was the son of Joseph Pemberton and Hannah Bramhall. John married widow Mercy (Wright) Elliott in Sheffield on 24 May 1863 but she passed away in 1882. John married his second wife, Annie Elizabeth Elliott in Bramley, near Leeds, during Q1 of 1883 and he passed away in New Wortley on 27 Nov 1910.
