Thomas Penrose was born in 1826 and baptised at St Just in Penwith, Cornwall on 17 Dec 1826. He was the son of James Penrose and Margaret. [1]

There is no NZ BDM record for Thomas's death, or at least not spelt this way Rodgers-4539 20:07, 7 March 2022 (UTC) There is a Thomas Penrose buried in Reefton Cemetery but he was buried 10 May 1893 and was born about 1846 Rodgers-4539 20:07, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
