Charles was Chickasaw.

Charles was born 10 Feb 1856 in the Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, the son of Johnson Perry and Lizzie Perry. Charles passed away 30 May 1924 at Arpelar, Pittsburg, Oklahoma. He is buried at the Double Springs Cemetery, Arpelar, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma.[2]
