Biography
Charles Edward Petre was the son of Hon. Charles Berney Petre and Elizabeth Howard. He married Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Petre, daughter of William Henry Francis Petre, 11th Baron Petre and Frances Charlotte Bedingfeld, on 23 May 1849. He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 7th Dragoon Guards.1
