In 1841 Ann Ward (age 37) lived at Up Hall in Ashill with her husband Robt (31) and four children: Fuller (3), Robt (2), Ann (0), and George Curson (5).[3]
In 1851 Ann Ward (age 47) lived in Saham Toney, Norfolk with her husband Robert (40, Shoe Maker Master) and six children: Fuller (13), Ann (10, Scholar), Frederick (8, Scholar), Leonard (5, Scholar), Martha [Maria] (4, Scholar), and George Curson (16, Shoe Maker Journeyman).[4]
In 1861 Ann Ward (age 57, Shoemaker) lived at Village Green in Ashill with her husband Robert (50, Shoemaker), son Leonard (15, Shoemaker Apprentice), and daughter Maria (16[~14]).[5]
In 1871 Ann Ward (age 67, Shoemakers Wife) lived in Ashill with her husband Robert (60, Shoemaker), daughter Maria (24), granddaughter Anna Garner (12, Scholar), and father-in-law Fuller Ward (82, Labourer).[6]
Ann Ward passed away in January 1876, aged 71 years. Her death was registered in Swaffham, Norfolk in the first quarter of the year. [7] Ann Ward was buried in Ashill on 17 Jan 1876.[8]
