Biography
John was born in 1871. He was the son of John Peyton and Sophia Lindsay.
John's birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1871 in the Hastings district.[1]
John Charles's wife Olive (nee Pooley) was born in Rochdale her father Richard was a physician and surgeon - he was born in Ireland. She outlived her husband for many years living in the Paddington area of London with her daughter Adela who never married.
John attended the famous Harrow School in England and was a member of Mr Hutton's House. He left in 1889. [2]
He passed away in 1914. [3]
