Biography

John was born in 1917. He was the son of Willard Phelps and Hannah Livingstone. He passed away in 1998.

Member of the Yukon Territorial Council.^[1] representing Whitehorse East, elected 1952, in the 1952 Yukon general election.

In 1963, he and his wife were on their boat, the Klee-Wych, in Ladysmith harbor when they were forced to leap overboard to escape an explosion. They were rescued, but the boat burned down to the waterline and later sank.^[2]
