Biography
Nicasius was born in 1719. He was the son of Joannes Cornelissen Philipssen and Anna Van Croij. Susc. Guillielmus Martens ?? loco Michael Van Overpelt & Catharina Leijs. Hij huwde in Kalmthout op 22 aug 1752 met Gertrudis Veraert alias Schepers, weduwe van Erasmus Van Elsacker. Ze bewoonden herberg-winkel De Nachtegael, thans café De Zoeten Inval te Kalmthout, ze bleven kinderloos. Zij overleed 17 aug 1783 en wordt dan uxor cauponis genoemd, vrouw van de herbergier. He passed away in 1786 PR blz 180.
