Biography

Emma Phillips was enumerated as granddaughter of the head of household in Mercer Street, Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas for the June 16, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born April 1889 in Arkansas and single. Also included in the household are head J P Baker, wife Salina Baker, daughter Elva Baker, stepdaughter Geneva Dodd, stepdaughter Georgia Dodd and granddaughter Clydie Phillips as seen in an image of the original census.[1]
