My fathers family seems to have relocated to the Ohio country, directly from Rhode Island, in the early 1800's. I have good reason to suspect that they already had cousins living in the area. We are descendants of Michael and Barbara.

I know the dates were a range, I just put them in yesterday, and didn't have my grandparents exact information at hand. Was planning on digging out my paperwork, and doing it tonight. I have just moved into a new apartment, and am forced to rely on public PCs because my laptop, was stolen. I had all of my Genealogical information on that lost laptop.

In return, for you, I have added a sufficient number of sources to Myrtle B. Lingo for you to substantially complete your grandmother's lineage as well as your grandfather, William Thomas Phillips.
Always glad to help.

The surname Jose is a fairly common one here in Cornwall, UK. It is of Romano-Celtic origin rather than Sephardic and not connected to the Spanish/Portuguese name with the same spelling. Jose in Cornwall is pronounced to rhyme with dose and the J is pronounced as a J rather than the H sound used in the Spanish etc version.
