Ada Phizacklea was born in Blackburn, Lancashire, England.
Ada was born in Blackburn, Lancashire, England, on August 2, 1895. [1]She was the daughter of Edward Phizacklea and Emma Case. She was baptized on September 15, 1895, in Blackburn at St John.[2] Ada was enumerated in the 1901 census [3] as a five year old residing with her parents and two siblings in Stainton, Ulverston, Lancashire. The family was living at Farmers Arms Stainton Nr Dalton In Furness, in 1911.[4] She was fifteen, single, and an "Inkeepers Daughter Assiting At Home". Her mother died in 1936. Ada appeared in the 1939 Register[5] residing with her widowed father and unmarried sister Emma at 5 Southgate, Ulverston. Her occupation listed as "Unpaid Domestic Duties".
Ada never married. She passed away in 1985.[6] Her death was registered in November in Barrow In Furness, Cumbria.
