Biography
Henry David “Balla” Pierce was born in Fremantle in 1886. He was the eldest son of Charles Pierce and Elizabeth Hughes. [1]
Henry died of wounds in 1918, aged 32.
- PIERCE.—Died of wounds on May 19, 1918, Henry David (Balla), dearly-beloved eldest son of Elizabeth and the late Charles H. Pierce, and dearly-beloved brother of Leonard, Albert, Charles, Myrtle and Gladys. Western Mail (Perth, WA : 1885 - 1954) Friday 14 June 1918 - Page 19
