Biography

Betsey was born in 1781. She passed away in 1884.

On 17 September 1801, Betsey married Elijah Mann Betsey Pierce in Hardwick, Caledonia County, Vermont. They had the following children:

John P. Mann 1804 – 16 June 1881

Samuel S. Mann 1 September 1804 – 8 April 1889

Lucy R. Mann Dutton 17 March 1809 – 12 May 1890

Abigail Mann Wakefield 1812 – 9 April 1892

James M. Mann 19 August 1815 – 3 December 1895

In 1840, Betsey (between the ages of 50 and 60) and Elijah (between the ages of 60 and 70) lived in Hardwick. Also in the household was a woman between the ages of 20 and 30.
