Biography
Ellen Pilkington was born in about 1829 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, [1] the daughter of Rowland Pilkington [2] and Elizabeth Whitfield.
In 1841, aged 12, she was living in Warrington with her mother and 2 siblings. [3]
She married Moses Fairhurst on 24 September 1849 in Grappenhall, Cheshire, England. [2] Their marriage was registered in Warrington. [4]
